Getting Started
My Procedures
When adding information in this section of CladeHealth Tracker, think about what is important for you to track and follow, perhaps related to a condition you have. Think about scans (e.g. MRI, CT, PET, mammogram, bone density), tests (e.g. ECG, hearing, vision), scopes (e.g. colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, endoscopy), and surgical/dental/cosmetic or plastic procedures (e.g. angioplasty, hysterectomy, joint injections, gum grafts, liposuction).
When entering a procedure, you can add the date and provider related to that procedure. You can also link or associate a procedure with a condition and/or lab report(s).
Why is this important? Many procedures are performed in clinics, offices, schools or maybe even places of employment. You may have had a procedure performed years ago in another city where you were living. Think about if you were asked “have you had this or a similar procedure done before” or “do you know the results of the last time this procedure was done”? Now you have one place to store, locate, and track this information over time.
Consider reviewing your childhood health information. Perhaps you had a procedure performed when you were young which might now be important to recall, note and consider with an upcoming procedure. This might be important to share with your healthcare provider.
In addition, it is important to note whether a procedure is medical, dental, plastic, etc., and to review and update this information annually.
